I was employed at the Thom McAn shoe store at the Springfield Mall in Springfield, Virginia, in the late 1970s. Whenever I collected my meager earnings, I would visit the record department at Korvette’s (located in the same mall) to buy LPs. If I recall correctly, Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) by The Rolling Stones and The Byrds’ Greatest Hits were my first purchases, and I have added to this reservoir ever since.
A fine collection of 488 LPs, some of which are quite rare. All have been well cared for, and most of the vinyl is cased in Mobile Fidelity deluxe sleeves.
