I saw The Who at the Capitol Centre in Largo, MD, in 1976. They were outstanding and very loud. When everyone was leaving at the show’s end, Keith Moon returned on stage and handed out a couple of cymbals and stands.

The Buddy Rich concert was excellent, but offstage, he could be rather unpleasant to his musicians.

During the Some Girls tour of 1978, the Rolling Stones headlined a day-long concert festival at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado. Ian McLagan played the keyboards, and many years later, when I moved to Texas, I became friends with him.

The 1980 Who tour was the first without Keith Moon, and the former Small Faces/Faces drummer Kenny Jones filled the chair.

The Moody Blues were among the many concerts I attended at Red Rocks in Denver, Colorado.

Rock & Roll Mags
$0.00

Two copies of the great Creem magazine, which was the “Bible” and required reading in the day, with one issue featuring an autographed article (Faces’ Slug Fest) regarding Ian McLagan, in which he punched out Helen Reddy’s husband during a Faces tour in 1975. If I recall correctly, Rock only lasted for one issue, but it is packed with information from 1977 or thereabouts

Lampoon Magazine
$0.00

Published before the “un-PC era,” the humor, satire, graphics, and brilliant writing of the Lampoon are sorely missed in these dark times.

Comics
$0.00

Who can forget the excellent Gold Key comics? Excellent presentations, art, and as a kid, I would buy these whenever I saved up enough money from delivering papers. The War of the Worlds and The Time Machine editions are hardbound.

Sheet Music
$0.00

I never learned how to read music, and I believe all of these folios are out of print.
